YUMA, Ariz. – A woman was arrested after police say she placed a suspicious backpack at the main entrance of the police department.
Officers say they arrested Renee Tagliafero in the area of of 16th Street and First Avenue around 10 p.m. Thursday.
Police found the backpack around 7 a.m. Thursday and issued an advisory to keep an eye out for Tagliafero to all law enforcement. The backpack turned out to have non-threatening objects inside according to officers.
Tagliafero was arrested for the hoax and is scheduled for court Friday at 1 p.m.
