November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month

November is officially Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

It started as Lung Cancer Awareness Day way back in 1995. But, as the lung cancer community and the lung cancer movement grew,  it grew into Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

Even as one of the deadliest cancers, it still one of the least amounts of support from people trying to raise awareness or funds for lung cancer.

Experts say  because the survival rate is much lower, that less people beat lung cancer to become a positive voice for change and one for awareness.

National rganizations are coming together to do just that – raise awareness and help find a cure to lung cancer.
