New Visitor Guidelines for Yuma Regional Medical Center

Yuma Regional Medical Center will start temporary visitor restrictions December 10th.

That’s sooner than normal.

Yuma Regional Medical Center Administrative Director of Quality Deborah Aders said, “We do it every year volumes on the confirmed flu we have received.” People age seventeen and under won’t be allowed into the hospital, as visitors, during this time to protect the patients.

Healthy people recover from the flu without problems but *certain people are at higher risk.. So the medical staff plan to take that extra precaution.
