National Hospice Month raises money for local hospice care

November is National Hospice Month. It’s a month long effort to raise awareness and funds for local and national hospice cares.

Hospice care is something that affects nearly every family across the country at some point.

It’s especially common in the desert southwest, as many people retire and grow old here.

So, locally efforts are strong during the month of November.

Local new car dealerships, Alexander, Fisher, and Zamora are all donating $25 to Hospice of Yuma for every new car that is purchased.

A local event at Texas Roadhouse will also raise money for Hospice of Yuma. – 10% of proceeds will benefit the local organization.
