FNL Preview: Holtville Vikings

HOLTVILLE, Calif. – The Holtville Vikings football program is seeking to overcome last season’s speed bump with an experienced group of play makers; in their quest to re-claim the Manzanita League title.

The Vikings are hoping not to repeat the rash of injuries that helped lead to the team’s demise of only being able to muster two wins last fall. It may fall on the shoulders of skill position players like starting quarterback Anthony Castro and receiving threats Bryce Bolin and John Rodriguez.

If the Vikes can stay healthy, they’re looking to also contend for the CIF-SD Section Division 5 crown.
