El Centro woman found stabbed and dead in laundry room

EL CENTRO, Calif. – A woman was found stabbed and dead in a laundry room of an apartment complex.

El Centro Police Department (ECPD) officers say they were called out to the area of Park Avenue and Fourth Street for a woman found bleeding on the floor. When officers were in route they got another call where the caller said the woman seemed to be dead.

When officers got there they found the 63-year-old woman inside the laundry room with multiple stab wounds and other injuries. Officers say the woman was eventually pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
