Car fire at Yuma motel

Yuma Fire Department confirms a car caught on fire this morning at the Yuma Cabana Motel.

It happened about 8:30 a.m in the 2100 block of South 4th Avenue.

Hotel officials say a housekeeper noticed smoke coming from the dark green Honda sedan in the parking lot and that’s when they called 911.

Authorities confirm the blaze began due to an electrical fire.
