UPDATE: 9/9/16 4 P.M. – The Yuma County Sheriff’s office said they are no longer consider one man as a suspect in a case involving the discovery of drugs and handguns. YCSO said 46-year-old Alonso Silva arrived at YCSO to speak to investigators about the case. Yuma County Narcotics Task Force investigators are no longer considering him a suspect.
YUMA, Ariz. – The Yuma County Narcotics Task Force is still looking for an armed and dangerous suspect as a part of a narcotics search warrant and now they have announced there is a second suspect also on the loose. Officials say the 2nd suspect is 47 year old Ramiro Silva. He’s described as a 6’3″, 200 pound Hispanic man. Police say he may have a gun.
Police are still searching for 46 year old Alonso Silva, who officials say ran from police during a traffic stop after the multi-agency task force found over 80 grams of narcotics and weapons at a home tied to Silva through the search warrant. Officials say the Jeep involved in this case has been found and seized. Both suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous.
